Travelling for me is a medium to detox and rejuvenate from my hectic work schedule.
I work in an IT company and the work load often leaves me tired and stressed. But come the weekend, I’m off on a road trip to refresh and get ready for the week to come. I discovered my passion for travel through a small 80-km office trip with a few friends and I have been unstoppable ever since. You’re bound to find me travelling every weekend. A few years ago, along with a few friends, I took a road trip from Chandigarh to Mussoorie via Dehradun. It was in November and we drove across tough terrains, braving the winter and the snow while temperatures fell to a low of 3 degrees. The drive wasn’t easy but the challenges are what makes it a memorable trip for me. It’s been four years since I have been driving the Renault DUSTER and this is my first Expedition Drive. Travelling as part of the Gang of Dusters was a unique experience as well. Honestly I was a little skeptical as to how I would get along with my fellow members as I didn’t know anybody except for my friends with whom I was travelling. But the vibe here is so warm that it feels like one big family. I believe that travelling is an excellent stress buster. The very fact that it refreshes you from inside out is reason enough to head for a road trip every weekend.
